And another thing....
Doncha just love it when someone; usually a family member; points to someone in the street and says "do you know him/her?" just because they happen to be disabled?"Yeah, I know ALL the disabled people on the planet!" D'oh!

I cannot imagine what it must be like to be in a wheelchair, but I think I'd spend a lot of time upsetting people through my need to verbally adjust their perspective.
