The Things People Say

...that drive me round the bend are many. Let me give you some examples: "Are you having a race?" when two or more wheelchair users heave into view. "Have you got a licence for that?" when a hapless wheelchair user comes anywhere near a walking type. "You're good at that, aren't you?" well, yes, I should be; I've been pushing a wheelchair since I graduated from my pram. "Just run over their toes" or "don't run me over, will you?" don't tempt me!! Enough already!
