A Quick Word...

...if you fancy being a patron of the arts, please scroll down to the bottom of my blog; you'll find that there's now a search engine for "Everyclick" on there. As its name suggests, every click helps charity. My own charities of choice are Progress Theatre and Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. http://www.progresstheatre.co.uk/ http://www.asbah.org/

I enjoy reading your blog, keep it up!

I've read all your posts today and I do think you're very expectant where able bodied chimps are concerned.

You see, I'm one of those "walking types" and if my expectations where to even come close to matching yours, I would without a doubt consider them to be way off the scale of reasonable.

Between the tv, the government and every other do-gooder, we now believe we live in something close to a wonderful society, where everyone is nice and accepting. The reality is we don't, we all live in a place that's quite similar to hell, similar in that it's exactly the same but it's slightly cooler.

My point is this, disabled or not we are still going to encounter ignorant arse-holes, it's just something we all have to deal with. Hey, sometimes I am that arse-hole, especially when the utilities companies decide to remove money from my bank account without telling me, bastards. (groan, groan).

As a now loyal reader I'm interested to know how you come to be in a wheelchair?
